Since 2018, NCCU’s Higher Education Sprout Project has aimed to nurture talent grounded in local roots while possessing a global vision. In its second phase (2020–2022), the plan emphasized four core pillars: “diverse learning,” “internationalization,” “digital education,” and “social responsibility.” The goal is to build a campus that supports both international and digital learning, equipping students with interdisciplinary competencies, local and global perspectives, and the ability to actively engage in social responsibility.
This year, the Higher Education Sprout Project Office is holding a series of achievement presentation events, including two forums (December 3 and December 17) and a physical poster exhibition. The in-person forum on December 3 (Friday) will focus on “International Sinology, Global Chinese Studies, AI & Information Technology, and Industry-Academia Collaboration,” while the online forum on December 17 (Friday) will highlight “Diverse Learning, Career Exploration, Austronesian Studies, and Global Alliances.” Project teams will be invited to share key accomplishments in each thematic area.
Additionally, from November 22 to December 3, a poster exhibition is being held in the second-floor lobby of the Administration Building, featuring achievements from 38 college-level projects carried out in 2021. A quiz-based giveaway is also part of the exhibition, encouraging participants to learn more about the university’s projects through interactive engagement. We welcome your visit and feedback!
