Reviving Tea Culture: NCCU Mobilizes Alumni to Back “50+1” Support for Returning Young Farmers
NCCU, together with the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau and the Tea Research and Extension Station, is driving the “Greater Taipei Tea Road” project and its “50 + 1” social enterprise, in which 50 consumers support one farm through product sales and immersive farm experiences to revitalize the Greater Wenshan tea industry and aid young farmers’ return.

Miloš Vystrčil, President of the Czech Senate, arrived in Taiwan on August 30. On August 31, he delivered his first public lecture in Taiwan at NCCU. The delegation of 44 included Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib, the Czech Academy of Sciences Vice President, university presidents, the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra Director, and representatives from academia, culture, and media.
